Medical Augmented Reality Summer School 2023

From September 4th to 15th, 2023, the 3rd edition of the Medical Augmented Reality Summer School took place at Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland, again bringing together the world's experts in Medical AR, clinicians, companies and talented academic researchers from all around the world, foster cooperation, and push the boundaries of Medical Augmented Reality. MARSS is organized by a consortium of scientists and clinicians from Balgrist University Hospital, Zurich, Switzerland and Technical University, Munich, Germany, which are among the leading centers for cutting-edge research in Medical Augmented Reality.

In the MARSS23 hackathon, interdisciplinary teams consisting of participants from research, industry, and clinic will develop novel Medical Augmented Reality systems, supported by experienced surgeons and AR experts. For MARSS23 and the MARSS23 hackathon, we will have access to our brand-new translational center for surgery, the OR-X, a highly technological equipped research and training infrastructure where surgical innovation and education can happen without patient burden.

This event is endorsed by the MICCAI society and covered by the MICCAI Code of Conduct.
